Hey Everyone,
The day that I have been waiting to tell you about for such a long time has finally come! Friday May 22nd, 2009 @ 7:00 PM will be a live DVD concert taping at the Glenn Gould Theatre at CBC Studios in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This event has been one year in the making and is bringing talent from all over the world! We will have folks from England, France, New York, Nashville, Chicago, LA and even ‘good old’ Canada on stage in Toronto.
Over the course of the next few weeks I will be introducing you to my band. Thanks to my band director and producer, Dan Cutrona, we have assembled star players from around the world. Let's just say the list of players that we had to choose from can be seen onstage around this world night after night at stadiums and coliseums.
We are also very pleased to announce that CBC recording artist and good friend, Laila Biali, will be joining me that evening, as well as her jazz trio. Laila and myself will also be doing some duets that evening.
The songs that have been picked are from our brand new CD Departures and we will be debuting some brand new songs as well. The stage design has also now begun.
